The purpose of this technical note is to inform to ALL IMR Surveyors and Representatives that according to new amendments completed for MARPOL, regarding Regional Reception facilities within Artic waters and Form of IOPP Certificate and Supplements, some of the IMR forms for International Oil Pollution Prevention were amended and will become in force to be used during the following surveys starting from May 1st, 2024.
It is important to review the Instructive (attached) amended for the survey and issuance of IOPP Certificate including the supporting documents that need to be collected during the surveys.
