TECH-014-2024- BASED OF RULES CLASS

The purpose of this Technical Note is to communicate which are the documents to be collected by the inspector during the dry dock inspection:

Renewal Dry Dock : 

1. Copy Of Shipyard report ( including the change of steel plates report ( position and dimension, Sand blasting report , Antifouling report and coating report)
2. Thickness measurement of the steel plate
3. Liquid penetrant test for shaft
4. Magnetic Particular detection report (tails shaft and rudder stock)
5. Tail shaft and stern tube bearing measurement record
6. Propeller test (clean, repair and balance of propeller and blades )
7. Rudder test (clean, detention of cracking and bend)
8. Anchor weight test
9. Thickness measurement of anchor chain
10. Report of Change of shaft seal
11. Valves repair test report
12. Safety valve pressure test report
13. Sea chest cleaning report
14. Hydrostatic test
15. Electric Motor Measurement record
16. Measurement record of Crankshaft deflection.

Intermediate Dry Dock

1. Copy Shipyard report ( including the change of steel plates report (position and dimensions San blasting report and Antifouling report and coating report)
2. Tail shaft and rudder stock clearances
3. Sea Chest cleaning report.
